The story of Poharex takes place in Mesociam- a huge continent, so large that it's not even fully charted as of yet. Most of Mesociam is covered with warm, humid jungles of palm and treefern, especially in the coastal areas, but further inland one encounters more temperate forests of conifer trees, as well as wide open plains and hills, along with less common areas such as wastelands and glaciers. These areas are home to creatures once thought extinct; dinosaurs, woolly mammoths and giant insects, to name a few. But not only wild animals reside in Mesociam. Early human and human-like species, like Neanderthals and Australopethicus, as well as the recently evolved, reptilian Anthrosauri, call this place home and even build cities and villages here.
This is the area of Mesociam that has been mapped so far:

Asselia Desert: A hostile, scorching wasteland, full of rocky cliffs and plains of sand, as well as a few inactive volcanoes. This is where Poharex's boat landed. The harsh climate of the desert is ideal for snakes, although is not very comfortable for dinosaurs.
Darrakith City: Named after the tyrant Darrakith, this metropolis was built by slaves to form the foundation for his future empire. Due to Poharex's interference, however, its' construction was never completed.
Temple of Qual'gazu: A mystical temple of a forgotten deity. Legend has it, that no living being but Poharex himself can go in and return alive- a legend which he had put to the test. The temple once contained the much sought-after Heart of Qual'gazu.
Dead Island: A large landmass just off the coast of Mesociam. Not much is known about that place, except it's devoid of plant life- and possibly life in general.
Tethys Ocean: The great ocean to the east of Mesociam, shrouded in mystery. Prehistoric sea monsters dwell on it's bottom.
Kumanta Edge: An island connected to the mainland by a narrow land bridge. It is a mostly unpopulated tropical environment.
Blue Fruit Valley: Called so because the dreaded, highly addictive Blue Fruit trees can only grow there. The inhabitants of the valley have submitted to the fruit's madness.
Tynnosia: An abandoned city built by an unknown race, possibly of extraterrestrial origin. It has been taken over, and ever since ruled by the aggressive Zumzii hordes.
Porculaneum: One of the largest Anthrosaur cities. The Anthrosauri who built it are probably descended from Roman colonists, as suggested by the architecture and the city's Latin name.
Tohu Plateau: A high land surrounded by harsh mountain ridges. The climate there is too cold for reptiles, but instead that land is inhabited mainly by mammals. If you want to have an idea of what Earth looked like during the Ice Ages, that is the place to go.
Swamps: The swampy area in the jungle's outskirts has no official name, though Todor dubbed it "The Mighty Bog of Chaos". It is known to be the gathering place of traders who buy and sell illegal goods.
Todor's Lab: Built within a narrow canyon in the plains, this is where Todor's inventions are kept. When not going on adventure, Todor spends most of his time there.
Xipil's Tribe: A small tribal Anthrosaur village, built upon a giant stone ramp in the middle of a lake. Xipil rules the village with an iron fist.
Oticum Inland Sea: A small inland sea that has an odd-shaped island in the middle. Many stay away from that sea because it limits with Tohu Plateau and because the whole area is prone to volcanic activity.
